Homework Ideas
The following is a list of homework ideas:
Common Core Math - get the one for your child's CURRENT grade so it is review.
Reading: Have your child read into a voice recorder/tape recorder and then play it back while they read along with what they have just read. This will help them slow down, realize that they didn't stop at a period, pause at a comma, etc. They can do this over and over again. This will help with fluency and confidence!
Math Facts:
The following are free math fact sites where you can print out math fact sheets for your child to practice. Keep in mind they should be practicing either addition and subtraction together, multiplication and division together, or mixed problems, depending on where they are at (they know:)
For every kind of math video and online help for all ages visit the following site (Joey's dad is a math professor at Phoenix College and authored these:)

This site has many activities that mimic the manipulatives we use in the classroom:

They should be practicing zero to twelve (using addends from zero to twelve, with sums of zero to twelve) and we do 30 problems to practice for two minutes - but any practice is great!

Cursive handwriting (ask us to send home their book if you would like your child to work on this)
Research - continuing studies from the school day.
